About House of Devi

Transform your mind, body and spirit with our yoga classes

Evening yoga

The evening yoga practice is a flowing and calming session, incorporating more Yin Yoga stretches and relaxation with elements of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. These practices are tailored to individual needs and health conditions. Each session is complemented by sound therapy using gongs and Tibetan bowls to promote deeper relaxation and energy balance.

Morning Yoga

Morning yoga practice is energy-awakening, starting with a warm-up and stretches to create a more dynamic flow. Like the evening yoga, sound therapy is also used here to enhance relaxation and energy circulation.

Yin and restorative yoga are passive forms of yoga, where seated or lying positions use cushions, blocks, and bolsters to promote the stretching of the body’s connective tissues through body weight, gravity, and props rather than applied force.
Ancient Chinese medicine believes that the intersection points of our energy channels, or meridians — used in acupuncture and acupressure — are located directly within the fascia tissue. Therefore, to open the flow of life energy in the body, each pose is held for about 3–5 minutes, achieved through relaxation and releasing resistance, rather than effort.
In contrast to traditional yoga classes, which primarily focus on muscles to build endurance and strength, Yin and restorative yoga stimulate the stretching of connective tissues, joints, ligaments, and tendons to promote deep relaxation, release tension, improve fluid circulation in the body, and enhance flexibility.
This practice balances, “cools,” and relaxes the body, and importantly, stretches the muscles and joints, making the body visually more beautiful and aesthetically appealing!

A transformative inner journey of self-discovery with Sandra and Guntars, featuring a healing yoga DMT breath to activate mindfulness processes, a restorative yoga practice for the physical and subtle body, and a beautiful, shamanic sacred sound journey with gongs, singing bowls, bells, shruti, drums, guitar, and other instruments, accompanied by live vocals.
Yin Yoga Bonus:
1.Has a strengthening effect on the deep connective tissues located between the muscles, which are difficult to reach through other forms of physical exercise.
2.Strengthens the body’s connective tissues overall, as each pose is held for 3–5 minutes.
3.Strengthens the joints, enhancing the body’s flexibility and energy flow — helping us recover (regenerate) more effectively and become more resilient.
4.Calms the nervous system, allowing the body to relax more deeply.
Note: This practice format is also available for corporate or private events on location.

Special sacred sound instruments are used during the practice, played close to each participant to create a healing resonance effect in every cell. It is a beautiful and profound experience!
